We are looking for an HR Coordinator to join our team.
We are flexible on the locations of either Edinburgh or Aberdeen.
Job Purpose:
The HR Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the People Experience department by providing essential administrative and project support. This role is responsible for providing timely and accurate information, resolving inquiries, and directing more complex issues to appropriate People Experience staff. The HR Coordinator plays a crucial role in maintaining positive employee experiences and ensuring HR Operations processes run smoothly.
Reporting to the HR Helpdesk Lead, you will work with others in the team to provide first-level advice across the firm, you will deliver the full range of employee lifecycle administration, annual HR cyclical activities and support continuous improvement initiatives within HR Operations and across the full People Experience function.
The HR Coordinator will be responsible for (but not limited to):
Providing employee support and issue resolution to HR inquiries raised via various channels (phone, email, chat), providing accurate information regarding HR policies, procedures, benefits, and other related matters Maintaining accurate employee records in the HRIS, including personal information, employment status, and changes. Updating and verifying data to ensure data integrity and compliance with company policies and data protection regulations Assisting employees with benefits enrolment, changes, and inquiries Supporting new hires with the full employment lifecycle including onboarding processes, paperwork, system access and induction through to offboarding procedures Generation of standard HR reports and metrics as needed Collaborating closely with People Experience team members and key stakeholder teams to address complex inquiries and ensure consistent responses, providing feedback on common inquiries to improve People Experience processes and communication Identifying opportunities to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the HR Operations Helpdesk. Participating in process improvement initiatives and suggesting enhancements to knowledge resources Participation in HR projects and the delivery of annual cyclical activitiesAbout You:
Relevant experience in a HR coordinator or similar role in a similar CIPD or equivalent qualified Knowledge and experience of the full suite of Microsoft packages including Word and Excel Experience in HR information systems Solid problem-solving skills and the ability to take initiative Excellent interpersonal and communication skills (both written and verbal) Strong customer service skills with a desire to go the extra mile Ability to manage workload, multi-task and prioritise effectively to meet deadlines Ability to build effective relationships with key stakeholders within the organisation, at all levels Meticulous attention to detail Degree educated in a relevant discipline is preferred Knowledge or experience in managing employee relations cases is desirable but not essentialWhy JC?
