HR Coordinator
Description We are seeking an HR Coordinator to become a part of our team in the healthcare and social assistance sector in Palm Springs, California. As an HR Coordinator, you will be the main point of contact for employees, guests, and applicants, offering a welcoming atmosphere at the HR front desk. This role requires a proactive individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and can seamlessly handle multiple priorities while carrying out essential HR and administrative tasks. Responsibilities • Welcome visitors, employees, and vendors as the initial point of contact at the HR front desk, and direct inquiries as needed. • Manage and direct incoming phone calls, providing quick and detail-oriented assistance as required. • Create, distribute, and oversee employee badges ensuring adherence to hospital policies and security standards. • Offer daily administrative support to the HR department, including managing files, data entry, and preparing correspondence. • Facilitate onboarding activities such as scheduling orientations and completing new permanent documentation. • Assist with benefit paperwork and employee record updates to ensure up-to-date and accurate information. • Uphold confidentiality and detail-oriented behavior while handling sensitive employee information. • Work together with various departments to ensure HR processes operate smoothly. • Assist with other HR-related tasks and special projects as needed. Requirements • Minimum of 1 year of experience in a similar role within the Healthcare, Hospitals, or Social Assistance industry • Proficiency in conducting Background Checks as part of the recruitment process • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal, for effective interaction with employees and management • Experience in Answering Inquiries and Inbound Calls, providing accurate information to callers • Demonstrated ability to effectively conduct New Employee Orientation sessions • Proven experience in managing Onboarding process for new hires, ensuring a smooth transition into the organization • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for data management and reporting purposes TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
