The Region Operations HR Director will partner with leaders across their Region and Functions to identify and prioritize key organizational capabilities. They will lead the identification of behaviors and processes to achieve required business results and execute on standardized initiatives that contribute to company-wide human resources strategic planning.

This position is based at our Corporate Headquarters in Westlake, TX and will require 25-50% travel across the year.

Position Description:Align Talent and Culture Initiatives to Support Business StrategyServe as a partner to the Regional Senior VP to support his or her strategic initiatives as well as his or her own development.Lead, engage, and attract a team of local HR Business Partners in executing HR strategic priorities.Partner with leaders to identify and prioritize key organizational capabilities, behaviors and processes to achieve required business results.Enable proactive workforce planning through forecasting and planning of talent pipeline requirements in line with the business strategyLead and execute succession planning for all key roles within the division as well as at the OpCo President level.Assist business unit leaders in providing employees with development opportunities that align with current and future performance standards.Ensure the execution of required employee training and execute capability-building training and development in line with business strategy.Provide guidance and counsel to Human Resource Managers on employee relations issues within region.Assist business unit leaders in interpreting employee feedback (COVID-19 concerns, surveys, hotline calls, Glassdoor data and other data points) to cultivate the company culture, living up to the company values, the promise of the employment brand and promoting positive employee relations.Review and benchmark the internal and external environment to improve human resources policies and initiatives; maintain knowledge of progressive human resources practices and key trends.Identify and drive the sharing of best practices across human resources in the region to facilitate continuous improvement.Identify process optimization and shared transactional opportunities to increase the efficiency and accuracy of human resources in the field.Facilitate a strong leadership and coaching culture.Desired Skills:Brings best in class human resources disciplines and processes from another company recognized for leading HR trendsExperience leading teams through transformation with resiliency.Has a clear, comprehensive understanding of the link between talent and other human resources initiatives and business strategy. Significant knowledge of human resources policies, processes (e.g., workforce planning and talent management) and talent management practicesAbility to develop clear, actionable steps in support of an overall business strategy.Ability to identify new ways for human resources to support the business strategy.Ability to collect and synthesize large quantities of quantitative and qualitative data.Ability to recognize trends and develop recommendations based on data analysis.Ability to engage, inspire and influence people.Ability to develop and deliver relevant, effective training programs to targeted audiences.Effective team player and networker.Strong interpersonal, communication and customer service skills.
