HR Director

Position Summary

The Site Head of Human resources leads the overall HR function, services, policies, and programs for the entire facility and the non-union workforce. Single site locations/multiple buildings.

Manage the overall HR function and provide HR leadership to business partners, talent management, employee relations, supporting the organization to ensure the proper execution of HR strategy including some budget planning.Develop and implement HR strategy, policies, and best practices ensuring all policies and procedures are current and meet legal requirements.Build talent strategy in partnership with stakeholders to cultivate a diverse leadership team and foster a collaborative team environment within the facility.Work closely with the leadership team to provide coaching and continuous improvement across the business.Collaborate with the North America Benefits Action Committee and Shared Service Center on payroll and benefit issues and challenges.Serve as advisor to all directors, advisors, and managers about HR issues.Analyze, evaluate, update incentive and compensation plans regularly to meet current business needs and retain workforce.Provide guidance and oversight for EHS and participate in injury investigations, remediation's, OSHA requests/interviews, and continuously look for ways to reduce/minimize injuries.Oversee, analyze, recommend improvements across the facility including security services, cafeteria, building structure, office space, etc.Ensure legal reporting requirements are met annually (OSHA reporting, EEO-1, Workers Compensation class codes and reporting).Participate/lead audits.Participate in community events and employee engagement initiatives.Prepare/approve all communications in collaboration with legal for messages throughout the facility including posters/signs, digital signage, emails, town hall meetings.Participate in the Benefit Advisory Committee for the United States.Drive Open Enrollment annually; analyze claims utilization and make recommendations regarding benefit platform.

Skills and Qualifications

Background, Experience& Qualifications:

Minimum 15 years of professional HR experience require, including plant level in manufacturing environment. Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree in HR is preferred.Strong project management and change management skills with previous experience influencing senior managers and driving HR strategy.Analytical and strategic thinker.Strong capability in assessing, hiring, developing and coaching talent.Excellent presentation skills with the ability to speak across various forums and communicate to broad, diverse audience.Ability to work within deadlines and adapt to changing conditions while generating effective and pragmatic solutions to new situations and problems.Collaborative partner and team leader with a strong drive to create a positive and inspiring work environment especially during times of change.Strong negotiation skills.Strong business acumenStrong work ethic and ability to multi-task in an extremely fast paced environment.
