HR Director
Description We are seeking an HR Director to join our Professional Services team at a manufacturing company in Northeast Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and overseeing HR strategies, systems, and procedures throughout the organization. This role is integral to ensuring the organization's compliance with industry trends and employment legislation. Key responsibilities: • Develop and implement HR strategies that align with the overall business strategy • Maintain knowledge of industry trends and employment legislation, ensuring the organization's compliance • Assist department managers with their responsibilities on personnel matters and deliver management training in various personnel management areas • Administer performance review programs to ensure effectiveness, compliance, and equity within the organization • Provide support and guidance to team members responsible for recruitment efforts, onboarding processes, and termination processes • Ensure the organization's policies, procedures, and practices on personnel matters are consistent with legal requirements • Develop and maintain a human resource information system that meets the organization's personnel information and reporting needs • Consult with legal counsel on personnel matters as needed • Support current and future business needs through the development, engagement, motivation, and preservation of human capital • Nurture a positive working environment and ensure legal compliance throughout human resource management. Requirements • Minimum of 10 years of experience in a professional services industry • Proven track record in HR leadership roles, preferably at the Director level • Mastery in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now • Extensive knowledge of Benefit Functions • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal • Demonstrated ability to liaise effectively with the C-Suite • Strong background in Employee Relations and Corporate Recruiting • Experience in the manufacturing industry is highly desirable • Proven ability to develop and implement HR strategies in line with business goals • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field required, Master's degree preferred • Professional HR certification is a plus, such as PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP • Familiarity with HR technology systems and ability to learn new systems quickly • Strong understanding of labor laws and disciplinary procedures • Proven decision-making capability with a sense of urgency in critical situations • Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism.
