HR Director
Description We are in search of an experienced HR Director to lead our human resources department, based in Lake Forest, California. This role is essential in ensuring the smooth operation of our HR department, maintaining compliance with company policies and legislation, and supporting the heads of departments in creating a productive and positive work environment. Responsibilities: • Lead the HR department, ensuring alignment with the company's objectives. • Guide and mentor the HR staff. • Oversee the processing of payroll bi-weekly, ensuring accuracy and adherence to labor laws. • Ensure compliance with wage and hour laws, including appropriate classification of employees and adherence to overtime regulations. • Manage the administration of benefits, including collaborating with brokers to negotiate employee benefit packages that strike a balance between cost savings and benefit retention. • Manage and oversee 401(k) audits, worker’s compensation audits, and assist with financial audits as necessary. • Maintain compliance with federal and state regulations regarding compensation and benefits. • Lead the recruitment, hiring, and onboarding process to ensure a positive experience for candidates. • Collaborate with department heads to support employee development, engagement, and retention strategies. • Oversee performance management programs, including evaluations and improvement plans. • Lead and oversee the Health and Safety team to ensure a safe and compliant workplace. • Develop and maintain HR policies and procedures that align with business objectives. • Serve as a key advisor to executive leadership on HR-related matters. • Work closely with all department heads to support organizational goals and employee relations. Requirements • Adept at using ADP - Financial Services for efficient human resources management. • Proficiency in ADP Workforce Now is a must. • Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode is required. • Comprehensive knowledge of HCM (Human Capital Management) is essential. • Experience with HRMS (Human Resource Management System) is necessary. • Ability to handle Benefit Functions effectively. • Excellent Communication skills for clear and concise messaging. • Strong understanding of Compliance regulations within human resources. • Experience in dealing with C-Suite level executives. • Proven track record in managing Employee Relations.
