Job Description

As the Director of People Services within our HR Center of Excellence (COE) model, you will oversee back-office HR operations for approximately 7,000 U.S. employees, ensuring an elevated employee experience while maintaining operational efficiency. You will lead the creation and execution of a global shared service strategy as part of our broader HR Transformation, driving process improvements, standardization, and automation across the organization.

In this role, you will manage the U.S. People Services team, prioritize projects, and monitor performance through key metrics. You'll also establish governance processes, collaborate with cross-functional teams to align HR operations with business strategies, and provide actionable insights through data analysis and reporting. This role demands strong leadership, strategic thinking in shared services, and a commitment to continuous improvement.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent experience), over 10 years of experience in shared services, including at least 5 years in a managerial role with a large global organization, proven leadership skills across both on-site and virtual teams, and experience with HR technology platforms like Workday, Smart Recruiters, and UKG Workforce Management, as well as familiarity with technology platforms supporting shared service operations.

This is a hybrid-based role which includes working 3 days per week (Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday) in our Deerfield, IL location.

What you will be doing:

Develop HR Operations Strategy: Create and execute a global shared services strategy, including a multi-year roadmap, in collaboration with the HR Transformation Team and key stakeholders.Lead Transformation Initiatives: Drive process improvements, standardization, and automation across the organization to enhance the associate experience and streamline HR operations.Manage HR Operations: Oversee U.S. People Services, prioritize projects, set team goals, and monitor performance using key metrics. Resolve complex issues with internal and external customers.Enhance Governance: Establish and maintain internal and external process controls, working closely with HR Technology, Payroll, Legal, and Audit teams to lead continuous improvement initiatives.Collaborate Across Functions: Partner with HR, Finance, Tax, IT, and Legal to integrate HR processes with other business functions and ensure alignment with overall organizational strategies.Analyze and Report Data: Monitor utilization data and Service Level Agreements, providing insights and recommendations to senior management through regular reports.
