HR Engagement and Communications Specialist
Description The HR Engagement and Communications Specialist plays a vital role in fostering an inclusive, engaging, and communicative workplace environment at a well-known hospital. This role is responsible for developing and executing strategies that promote employee engagement, streamline internal communications, and support the human resources team's mission to enhance employee satisfaction and retention. The specialist serves as a bridge between leadership and staff, ensuring a supportive environment that aligns with organizational culture and values. Key Responsibilities Employee Engagement + Design, implement, and manage employee engagement programs, including recognition initiatives, team-building activities, and surveys. + Analyze employee feedback and engagement survey results to identify trends and areas for improvement; present findings and recommendations to HR leadership. + Collaborate with department heads to champion initiatives that boost morale and create a positive workplace culture. Requirements Qualifications Education: + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Communications, Organizational Development, Business Administration, or a related field required. Experience: + 1–3 years of relevant experience in employee engagement, HR communications, or a similar role. Experience in a healthcare or hospital setting preferred. Skills: + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with diverse audiences. + Proficiency in creating and managing content across internal platforms (e.g., intranet, email campaigns, and management systems). + Strong organizational and multitasking abilities with keen attention to detail. + Familiarity with HR tools and systems; experience with employee engagement or survey platforms (e.g., Qualtrics, SurveyMonkey) is a plus. + Ability to manage sensitive information with discretion and maintain confidentiality.
