HR File Compliance Analyst
Description Under the guidance of the Human Resources manager, the HR Files Compliance Analyst serves as a coordinator for personnel file inquiries for 36,000 plus employees from Ronald Reagan Medical Center, Santa Monica Hospital, West Valley Medical Center, Faculty Practice Group and David Geffen School of Medicine. In this role, you will maintain electronic personnel files for all employees. This includes uploading new documents, deleting, and destroying files after termination and collaborate with HR Files team to audit and prepare for surveys by accreditation agencies such as Joint Commission, CDPH, etc. You will work in a collaborative manner with HR Files team responsible for mandatory HR File compliance for all compliance agencies including; Joint Commission, California Department of Public Health, College of American Pathologists, Centers for Medicare and Medicaid, etc. You will also manage cases in Service Now to provide customer service pertaining to personnel file inquiries, including but not limited to subpoenas, file requests, recruitment file requests, file additions, and file issues. Salary Range: $30.56 to $60.82 Hourly Qualifications + 1 to 3 years of demonstrated customer service experience within HR + Exceptional writing skills to clearly, concisely, and logically articulate ideas, using appropriate editorial style and grammatically correct language; ability to translate technical information and concepts into easily understandable language for a diverse audience. + Interpersonal skills to interact effectively and diplomatically with faculty, staff, administrators and co-workers and to establish and maintain cooperative working relationships with other staff members and managers. + Impeccable attention to detail and thoroughness in work product. + Ability to keep abreast of constantly changing University systems, regulations, policies and procedures. + Basic knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. + Ability to sit for prolonged periods of time; frequent use of fine motor skills, mainly computer keyboard; lift occasionally up to 25lb. + Knowledge of UC personnel and payroll policies and procedures strongly preferred.
