HR Generalist – Calgary

Responsibilities:Act as a point of contact for employee inquiries, mediating conflicts, and managing disciplinary actions.Oversee the recruitment process, including job posting, interviewing, and onboarding new employees.Support and coordinate employee performance reviews, providing feedback and working with management on improvement strategies.Administer employee benefits and ensure compliance with company policies and legal regulations.Maintain accurate employee records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information.Develop and implement HR policies and procedures to align with organizational goals and legal standards.Assist in planning and conducting employee training and development programs.Ensure compliance with labor laws, regulations, and company policies.Qualifications:Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, including labor standards and workplace safety.Proven experience in handling recruitment, onboarding, and employee relations.Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to mediate conflicts and resolve issues.Proficiency in HR software and Microsoft Office Suite, including Word and Excel.Strong organizational skills, with attention to detail and the ability to handle confidential information.Experience in performance management and employee development processes.Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize effectively, and work in a fast-paced environment.Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, with HR certifications being an asset.
