This position reports to

Your role and responsibilities

In this role you will have the opportunity to make a meaningful impact for employees onsite in the Byhalia, MS Distribution facility (#LI-Onsite). Each day, you will coordinate and lead various HR activities (including payroll, employee relations, and recruiting). - Prepares and processes payroll.- Administers various human resources plans and procedures for all company personnel.- Conducts investigations into employee concerns, writes reports, and makes recommendations regarding corrective action.- Performs benefits administration to include claims resolution, change reporting, and communicating benefit information to employees.- Conducts recruitment effort to all non-exempt personnel, students, and temporary employees; conducts new-employee orientations; writes and places job postings.- Handles employee relations counseling, outplacement counseling and exit interviewing.- Must maintain confidentiality, and interact, communicate, and work effectively with all plant employees and visitors, and be responsible and self-motivated to complete assigned duties accurately and timely with minimal supervision.

Qualifications for the role

Bachelor’s Degree in a related field (required)Minimum 3 - 5 years of HR Generalist experience (including some payroll background)PHR/SHRM-CP certified preferredExperience working in a distribution/warehouse setting a plusWorkday (or similar HCM) experience a plusKronos (or similar timekeeping system) experience a plusCandidates must already have a work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.
