HR Generalist
Job Summary: The Human Resources Administrator will perform daily functions of the HR department within the assigned business unit.  The HR Administrator is an on-site position adhering to the CPM Remote Work Policy and reporting to CPM Corp HR leadership. Duties/Responsibilities: + Assists HR team members with recruitment coordination along with local managers including interview scheduling and ATS management. + Conducts background checks and employee eligibility verifications. + Performs employment verifications. + Assists HR team with new hire orientation and employee recognition programs. + Performs daily HR admin tasks including but not limited to employee file documentation, training and development, benefits support, leave coordination, and time & attendance support. + Works with managers and supervisors as a liaison between operations and HR. + Appropriately communicates HR related updates and critical information to all employees. + Handles employment-related inquiries from applicants, employees, and supervisors, referring complex and/or sensitive matters to the appropriate HR team members. + Maintains compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance. + Maintains knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. + Assist with performance evaluation management. + Assists with conducting disciplinary employee investigations. + Assists with safety training compliance and tracking. + Manages recruiting, referral and sign-on bonus programs. + Support Diversity, Equity, Inclusion, and Belonging initiatives. + Performs other duties as assigned by a manager. Required Skills/Abilities: + Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills + Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail + Excellent interpersonal, negotiation, and conflict to resolution skills + Strong emotional intelligence. + Strong analytical and problem-solving skills + Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality + Ability to prioritize tasks and to delegate them when appropriate  + Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations. + Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite or related software. + Proficiency with or the ability to quickly learn the organization’s HRIS and talent management systems. Education and Experience: + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field  or similar experience. + Required 3 to 5 years’ experience in a HR role. + SHRM-CP or PHR certification a plus. #LI-MP1 CPM Acquisition Corp. is an equal opportunity employer.
