HR Generalist
Kforce has an entertainment client that is seeking an experienced, thoughtful, and business-savvy HR partner to support one of its iconic productions located in Manhattan, NYC. Summary: In partnership with the VP HR, the HR Generalist's (HRG) responsibilities will include the planning, development, implementation, and administration of all areas of human resources including, benefits, compensation, leave management, worker's comp, employee relations, organizational development, and records management/legal compliance. This role will have a dedicated emphasis to change management including but not limited to performance management, disciplinary/corrective action, change, and staffing management and analysis. Responsibilities: * Act as a trusted advisor and resource to cast, crew, and production leadership * Support and communicate the culture, mission, and vision of the company to align employees and effectively and efficiently meet business goals and objectives * Conduct complex investigations covering a wide range of issues and manage complex employee relations issues including recommendation and implementation of corrective actions * Analyze current HR practices, identify improvement opportunities, influence management, build consensus, and implement change to achieve the vision and goals that are aligned with the company * Manage a New Hire Orientation/onboarding program for hires and interns to ensure that the process is informative, fun and welcoming (to include start paperwork, benefits overview, tour, introductions, overview of company policies and perks etc.) * Manage the strategic, tactical, and day-to-day administrative tasks surrounding the HR support of up to 150 employees * Counsel employees in matters such as employment issues, various leaves (PFL/FMLA etc.), career coaching and disciplinary issues * Leverage analytics reporting to review trending data to help with employment, staffing, and career development decisions
