**HR Generalist** **Location: Waterford/Shelby/Westland, MI** **Salary: $25 - $30 an hour** **Schedule: Part-Time 30 hours** **Position Overview:** ? Kelly Services has partnered with a global leader in the fastening industry since its founding in 1942. As part of their team in the automotive sector, we are looking for a dynamic HR Generalist to join them. This dual-role position combines strategic partnership with business leaders and hands-on HR operations, making it a vital part of the organization’s success. **Responsibilities:** ? + Act as a trusted advisor to business leaders, understanding business goals and aligning HR strategies to support overall organizational success. + Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing concerns and resolving workplace issues to ensure a positive and productive work environment. + Oversee the performance appraisal process, coach managers on giving feedback, and ensure that individual and team performance aligns with organizational goals. + Support recruitment efforts by partnering with internal Talent Acquisition team. + Facilitate smooth onboarding for new hires, ensuring they integrate well into the company culture. + Ensure company policies are compliant with legal regulations and industry best practices. + Educate employees and managers on HR policies and procedures. + Identify skill gaps and recommend training programs to enhance employee development and engagement. + Support compensation strategy and ensure that benefits programs are communicated effectively and understood by employees. + Collect and analyze HR data to provide insights on workforce trends and recommend improvements in HR practices. **Qualifications and Requirements:** ? + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. + 3 years of experience in HR, with a blend of HR Business Partnering and Generalist roles. + Strong knowledge of employment law, HR policies, and best practices. + Excellent communication, problem-solving, and interpersonal skills. + Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency with HRIS systems and Microsoft Office. **Next Steps** ?
