HR Generalist
Kforce's client located in Bronx, NY is seeking an HR Generalist to join their team. Summary: The Human Resources Generalist will be responsible for administering human resources policies and programs. This position will work in a team setting to solve complex HR-related issues and ensure compliance with local, state, and federal employment laws. Responsibilities: * Maintains knowledge of compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, and recommended best practices; Reviews policies and practices to maintain compliance * Identify areas for improvement, generate solutions, and implement new processes for improvement in areas including but not limited to payroll processing, payroll reporting and analytics, time off, onboarding, off-boarding, HR portal, compliance, recognition, and policy interpretation * Generate and analyze reporting information in areas including but not limited to payroll, time and attendance, demographics, applicant tracking, performance management, and turnover * Effectively communicate, document, and execute necessary changes to policies and procedures in collaboration with department leaders * Anticipate and plan for long-term human resource needs and trends in partnership with HR Manager * Assist in the formulation of objectives for personnel policies and procedures, and staffing goals * Ensure company policies are administered fairly and consistently company wide * Perform audit and compliance functions regularly on items such as benefits, personnel demographics, time and attendance, reports, and payroll information * Assist in the management and execution of bonus plans, merit processes, and routine/special request reports
