HR Generalist
Overview **This position will be physically located in the Philippines in support of LOGCAP** Under supervision of the HR Supervisor, the HR Generalist duties involve a complex range of support activities inside the HR department. The HR Generalist is the POC for on-boarding of all LN employees and orientation for AN employee mobilizing to the Philippines. HR Generalist supports the HR Supervisor in policy support, host country labor laws, SMT and deployment activities. HR Generalist the primary liaison between HR and employees, ensuring smooth communication and prompt resolution of requests and questions. Will assist in creating policies, processes and documents. Responsibilities This position description is subject to change at any time as needed to meet the requirements of the program or company. Overseeing the onboarding process of all LN new employees and HR orientation of AN employees to Subic Submits Assignment Entitlements to LOGCAP ES for payment and partners with payroll and PC to resolve pay issues for all employees Operates with limited direct oversight and able to resolve complex HR issues Coordinates with SMT on req creation Coordinates with PMO on Host Country Taxes Is the POC for day to day operations of the normal HR functions and duties Handles out-processing and demobilization of employees from Philippines Provide administrative support to Human Resources PMO team Compile and update employee records (hard and soft copies) Process documentation and prepare reports relating to personnel activities Coordinate HR projects (meetings, training, surveys etc.) Handles Travel and R&R Requests Deal with employee requests regarding human resources issues, rules, and regulations Performs other job duties as required. Qualifications Minimum Qualifications: Education/Certifications: One-year related experience may be substituted for one year of education, if degree is required. High School Diploma. Experience: Five (5) years’ experience in a Human Resources role. Must be able to read, write and speak English Previous LOGCAP HR experience preferred Skills: Strong Interpersonal skills Excellent Communication ability Skilled working in a team-orientated environment and able to demonstrate strong customer service skills Communicates professionally orally and in writing Previous knowledge in an HRIS systems (SAP, PeopleSoft, etc.) Excellent computer, interpersonal, and oral and written communication skills required. Computer skills include a working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook. Overseas experience preferably in a DoD environment is required. Working Conditions: The worker may be required to spend extended time in a computer room environment. Physical Requirements: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.
