Additionally, in 2024 we were awarded the Gallup Exceptional Workplace Award, which recognizes the most engaged workplace cultures in the world._ **HR Generalist – Carmel, IN** The HR Generalist provides support to the organization to enable development, engagement, and support for the assigned businesses as well as general support to HR team members. This position will work closely with people across the organization and will gain an understanding of how to support the business’ strategies through people. The HR Generalist is responsible for supporting processes related to engagement, employee relations, reporting and metrics, early career programs, talent acquisition, talent development and compensation. **What You Will Do:** + Manage all processes related to HR policies for assigned client groups (Service Awards, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Referrals, etc.) + Manage Leave of Absence and ADA processes for assigned client groups and partner closely with Benefits team + Work within the Americas HR team to proactively develop and execute solutions to support business strategy + Establish and maintain productive internal and external working relationships + Coach managers and employees on Workday Employee Self-Service and Manager Self-Service functionality + Lead the off-boarding and exit process for terminations in assigned client groups + Create and maintain reports and dashboards to support client groups including regular auditing and maintenance to drive data integrity and accuracy across HR systems + Manage communications and reporting to ensure timely completion of core HR processes such as performance management, annual compensation planning, and employee engagement surveys + Provide support for Talent Management processes (such as Succession Planning, Individual Development Plans, etc.). + Provide Talent Acquisition and onboarding support for assigned client groups, which includes exempt & non-exempt roles + Partner with compensation for salary market analysis, total rewards projects, and equity program support as needed + Partner with Talent Acquisition COE and assigned client groups to support talent programs such as internships, co-ops, and other early career programs + Identify and recommend opportunities for HR Process improvements + Additional projects to support client groups as needed **What You Need to Succeed:** + 3+ years of experience in Human Resources with experience in leaves of absence, talent management, talent acquisition, compensation, or benefits + Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Labor/Industrial Relations, Business Management, Psychology, or related field + Strong technological skills, including HRIS experience (Workday preferred) and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) + Knowledge and experience with leaves of absence and local, state and federal requirements + Knowledge and experience with employment law including local, state and federal preferred + Experience analyzing data and creating dashboards + Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to communicate effectively with all levels of employees and leaders both in-person and written + Detail-oriented, organized, with a strong sense of urgency + Proven ability to problem solve, manage conflict, influence, multi-task, and manage change + Ability to travel up to 10% **Why Work for Us?** **Allegion is a Great Place to Grow your Career if:** + You're seeking a rewarding opportunity that allows you to truly help others.
