Robert Half is partnered with an established Baton Rouge company in search of a diligent HR Generalist. The successful candidate will possess an array of experience in managing diverse HR tasks such as benefits and payroll processing, employee relationship management, recruitment, performance management, and strict compliance with legal requirements. Key responsibilities include:
• Ensuring prompt and accurate HR-related data and document processing
• Providing aid in payroll and benefits disbursement
• Administering employee benefits programs such as health insurance and retirement plans
• Ensuring adherence to mandatory and voluntary trainings and certifications
• Managing the entire recruitment lifecycle, ranging from job posting to new hire orientation
• Tracking and reporting HR metrics
• Assisting in the conception, execution, and upkeep of HR and compliance software
• Addressing HR-related inquiries and directing employees to relevant resources
• Ensuring adherence to all regulatory and legal requirements and aiding in the continual improvement of the HR policies and procedures
Requirements
• At least five years of experience in human resources
• Comprehensive knowledge of HR practices, employment laws, and regulations
• Bachelor’s degree in HR, business administration, or a related field preferred
• HR certifications such as SHRM-CP, PHR is preferred
• Impressive communication skills, both written and verbal
• Aptitude for handling confidential information with utmost discretion
• Ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work independently
