Description
Bridget Killen at Robert Half is looking for an HR Generalist based in Eugene, Oregon. The successful candidate will be a crucial team member who will manage various aspects of employee claims, leave administration, and compliance with federal laws. This role is designed for someone with a well-rounded experience in Human Resources, particularly in administering FMLA/OFLA/PLO leaves.
Responsibilities:
• Administer all employee FMLA/OFLA/PLO claims in accordance with federal laws.
• Educate employees and managers on the leave process, ensuring a comprehensive understanding across the board.
• Liaise with the Payroll department to ensure correct and timely payment of leave benefits.
• Maintain open lines of communication with managers and other relevant parties on the status of leaves and the return-to-work process.
• Accurately track leave time and collaborate closely with managers on related issues.
• Ensure compliance with FMLA, OFLA, PLO, and other applicable state and federal laws.
• Handle employee relations and communication effectively and professionally.
• Manage leave requests and medical leave administration.
• Deliver benefit functions and ensure compliance with the organization's policies and procedures.
• Maintain a high level of confidentiality and discretion at all times.

Requirements • Must possess strong knowledge of Benefit Functions
• Excellent Communication skills are required
• Must be well-versed with Compliance in HR sector
• Experience with Employee Relations is necessary
• Should have a deep understanding of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act)
• Proficiency in Leave Administration is a must
• Ability to handle Leave Requests effectively
• Experience with Medical Leave management is desirable
• Should have knowledge of Family Medical Leave procedures
