Jenny Bour with Robert Half has an exciting opportunity for a Human Resources Generalist with a growing company in the professional services industry! This HR Generalist role involves supporting various HR-related services such as recruitment, benefits administration, payroll, employee relations, etc. This HR Generalist roles offers opportunity for growth, company funded HR certification opportunities, excellent benefits and profit sharing! This position is based out of Williamsville, NY and offers a hybrid schedule!
Some of your responsibilities will include...
+ Collaborate with hiring managers to understand the skills and competencies required for open positions, facilitating the recruitment and interview process.
+ Foster a positive attitude towards company goals through planning and conducting new employee orientations.
+ Administer payroll processing and manage the separation process, including conducting exit interviews.
+ Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations by reviewing policies and practices.
+ Assist in evaluating and writing HR policies and procedures.
+ Effectively track, review, and document compliance with mandatory and non-mandatory training, continuing education, and work assessments.
+ Prepare onboarding and separation documents and maintain all personnel files and records.
+ Manage tasks required to administer and execute human resource programs such as benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, performance and talent management, and training and development.
+ Process benefit invoicing including medical, dental, disability, life, and retiree medical.
+ Participate in employee disciplinary meetings, terminations, and investigations when necessary.
Requirements
+ 4+ years of human resources experience is preferred
+ Bachelors Degree in human resources, or related field
+ Experience working in ADP is a plus
+ Experience in managing Benefit Functions is a plus
+ Strong Communication skills, both verbal and written
+ Understanding of Compliance rules and regulations in HR
+ Ability to handle Employee Relations and solve disputes effectively
+ Experience in Recruiting, including sourcing, interviewing and onboarding employees, is preferred
