Description
We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in Irvine, California. This role is fully onsite. The HR Generalist will be instrumental in our operations, claims department, and administrative functions, with some involvement in clinical and provider areas.
Responsibilities:
• Use ATS Paycom and Monday.com to manage and run reports on recruitment activities.
• Handle a substantial amount of recruitment tasks, including phone screens, resume reviews, interviews, and scheduling.
• Provide guidance to business leaders on HR-related matters.
• Manage a diverse range of job requisitions, primarily in operations and claims departments.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.
• Foster positive employee relations and address any employee-related issues.
• Utilize Ceridian and Dayforce for various HR and benefit functions.
• Support campus and corporate recruiting initiatives where necessary.
• Leverage communication skills to effectively manage employee relations and ensure compliance with company policies.
• Handle tasks related to the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and other employee benefits.
Requirements • Possess a minimum of 3 years of experience in a Human Resources Generalist role or similar capacity
• Proficiency in Asynchronous Transfer Mode (ATS) is essential
• Familiarity with human resources software such as Ceridian and Dayforce
• Demonstrable experience in managing Benefit Functions
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
• Strong understanding of HR compliance and regulations
• Proven experience in handling Employee Relations
• Familiarity with Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) procedures
• Experience with Paycom software will be advantageous
• Proven experience in Campus Recruiting, Corporate Recruiting, and Engineering Recruiting
• Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field is preferred
• Professional certification in Human Resources (e.g., PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP) will be a plus
• Demonstrable ability to multitask and prioritize in a fast-paced environment
• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail
• Must be a team player with strong interpersonal skills.
