HR Generalist
Description A non-profit in Culver City is hiring an HR Generalist on a contract-to-hire basis. The HR Generalist role involves a wide range of HR tasks including employee relations, recruitment coordination, updating employee files, and on-boarding new employees. The candidate will also be responsible for ensuring all staff pass compliance requirements, obtain required accreditations, are up-to-date with labor laws, and ensuring company policies are in line with these laws. Key Job Responsibilities: + Carry out recruitment related tasks, including posting job ads, screening resumes, conducting preliminary interviews and coordinating callbacks for potential candidates. + Oversee employee relations, promptly addressing any issues and concerns that arise, participating in resolution and providing necessary follow-up. + Manage and organize HR files, ensuring all employee records are up-to-date, properly filed and compliant with labor laws. + Coordinate employee needs and inquiries, providing timely and efficient responses. + Guarantee all employees fulfill mandatory requirements such as accreditation, live scans, TB tests, and all employees are trained on labor laws. + Support the onboarding process for new hires including orientation, paperwork and introduction to company policies, procedures and relevant labor laws. + Perform general HR admin functions including management reports preparation, keeping track of staffing requirements, ensuring company policies are compliant with labor laws, etc. The ideal candidate must have 4+ years of HR experience with a proven understanding of labor laws and compliance. This is a fully onsite role in Culver City and is a contract-to-hire. Pay is based on experience, between $70-80k. Hours are 9-5PM with some flexibility. Requirements • Holds a proficient understanding of ADP - Financial Services. • Demonstrated experience with ADP Workforce Now. • Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode. • Has working knowledge of Ceridian and Dayforce. • Proficiency in using About Time software. • Prior experience in auditing. • Capable of conducting thorough background checks. • Understands and is able to execute benefit functions. • Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal. ­Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
