HR Generalist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Generalist based in Raleigh, North Carolina. This role is within the Power Distribution industry and requires a detail-oriented individual who is adept at handling various HR functions and brings a strong understanding of specific skills including ADP - Financial Services, ADP Workforce Now, ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, Dayforce, Benefit Functions, Communication, Compliance, Employee Relations, and FMLA.
Responsibilities:
• Efficiently handle employee relations and address any issues that may arise.
• Implement and manage ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now for HR-related operations.
• Utilize ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode for HR operations and data transfer processes.
• Oversee compliance with labor laws and regulations.
• Manage benefits functions, ensuring all employee benefits are administered correctly and timely.
• Leverage Ceridian and Dayforce for HR management and employee data handling.
• Maintain open communication channels within the organization to facilitate a positive work environment.
• Handle FMLA requests and ensure they are processed in accordance with company policy and legal requirements.
• Play a pivotal role in the recruitment process, from screening applicants to conducting interviews and onboarding new hires.
• Actively participate in strategic planning and implementation of HR policies and practices. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Experience with Ceridian and Dayforce platforms
• Understanding of Benefit Functions in a HR capacity
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and oral
• Knowledge of Compliance regulations and procedures within HR
• Proven ability in managing Employee Relations
• Familiarity with FMLA and other relevant labor laws
• Prior experience in the Power Distribution industry is advantageous
• Demonstrated ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Ability to multitask and manage priorities in a fast-paced environment
• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
