HR Generalist

Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for an HR Generalist in the Energy/Natural Resources industry, located in MT LEBANON, Pennsylvania. In this role, you will play a key role in talent acquisition and employee onboarding, along with promoting HR programs to build an efficient workplace.
Responsibilities:
• Conduct talent acquisition and recruitment processes, ensuring the selection of the most qualified candidates.
• Manage employee onboarding processes, including organizing training and development initiatives.
• Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation, and resolve any issues that may arise.
• Promote HR programs to foster an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
• Assist in the development and implementation of human resource policies.
• Undertake tasks around performance management to ensure employee productivity and efficiency.
• Gather and analyze data for useful HR metrics, such as time to hire and employee turnover rates.
• Organize quarterly and annual employee performance reviews to assess employee performance and productivity.
• Maintain accurate employee files and records in both electronic and paper form.
• Ensure job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, applying new perks and benefits, and organizing team building activities.
• Ensure compliance with labor regulations to maintain a legal and fair workplace.
• Review payroll through ADP to ensure accuracy.
• Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all tasks and communications.
Skills:
• Familiarity with ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Knowledge of ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode, Ceridian, Dayforce
• Experience with Benefit Functions, Communication, Compliance, Employee Relations, FMLA Requirements • Proven experience in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now
• Proficiency in using ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce systems
• Demonstrated knowledge in Benefit Functions
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
• Strong understanding of Compliance in HR practices
• Experience in handling Employee Relations
• Knowledge of FMLA (Family and Medical Leave Act) rules and regulations
• Ability to work in the Energy/Natural Resources industry
• Experience in the role of HR Generalist or similar capacity
• Ability to handle confidential information with discretion
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound judgments
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Proficiency in using Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
