Job Summary
The HR Generalist provides support to the Sr. HR Manager in maintaining the Human Resources Department Maintains employee files, workers’ compensation claims, leaves of absence, FMLA processing, employee relations, and works closely with the Operations Team and EHS Manager in creating and maintaining a positive and safe workplace.

Responsibilities and Duties
+ Compiles and reports Human Resources data.
+ Tracks and maintains attendance records; prepares and tracks attendance notification documents and disciplinary documentation.
+ Completes Personnel Change Notice forms including processing data entry into HRIS system
+ Compiles and reports Human Resources and Environmental, Health, and Safety data.
+ Maintains Safety records and incident reports.
+ Completes Worker’s Compensation FMLA, CFRA, ADA, LOA claims, follows up on employee work status, and advises management of updates
+ Maintains employee personnel files
+ Assists with Employee issues in cooperation with the EHS/HR Manager
+ Compiles data and publishes related reports including turnover, absenteeism, headcount, vacation, overtime, etc.
+ Oversees annual performance reviews process and data collection.
+ Ensures accuracy of and processes employee benefits paperwork
+ Enseres legal compliancia – EEO, AAP, FLSA, etc.
+ Assists with internal audits as needed.
+ Conduct benefits Meetings, open Enrollment meetings, and discuss Benefits during Orientations
+ Administer all employee benefits which includes medical, dental, vision, 401k, Supplemental coverage plans, and COBRA
+ Assist with ACA reporting and compliance for all employees
+ May assist with recruitment, orientation, and onboarding processes as needed
+ Use initiative to independently perform recurring office work with minimal supervision
+ Other Duties as assigned
Qualifications and Skills
+ BS/BA degree in Human Resources, Business Management, or related field preferred.
+ 3 or more years in a high growth Production or Manufacturing environment working in Human Resources preferred.
+ Able to multi-task and work with multiple interruptions
+ HR certification preferred.
+ Must be able to deal with confidential materials and information professionally and tactfully.
+ Highly proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)
+ Excellent written communication skills and solid presentation skills
+ Ability to prioritize and follow through to achieve results and meet deadlines to meet the needs of the business.
+ Self-starter who can work with minimal supervision.
+ Ability to communicate across all levels of the organization.
+ Bilingual in Spanish is preferred.
+ This is an in-office position must be able to work in a office setting Monday thru Friday.
