HR Generalist
Position SummaryThe HR Generalist is responsible for assisting the personnel function within the company and supports the organization by implementing and administrating Human Resources program and policies.Position Responsibilities may include, but not limited toProvide business partnership and coaching to leaders and their teams under the direction of the HR Business PartnerExecute HR processes in collaboration with other functional Human Resources leaders Drive continuous improvement in HR programs, proactively making recommendations for improvements in a manner consistent with the company’s mission values Provide project accountability on assigned HR-specific projects and initiatives Ensure employee and site compliance with company policies Responsible for employee relations matters at assigned locations as assignedAssist with talent review and succession planning process that identifies top talent, mitigates talent gaps and builds leadership capabilities Ensure legal compliance by monitoring applicable federal, state and local HR-related requirements; assisting with investigations and maintaining appropriate written recordsFacilitate effective change management in collaboration with the HR Business Partner and location leadership teams Encourage people and culture practices that promote retention of key talent Respond to unemployment claims and fact finding interviews Coordinate employee onboarding, conduct orientation and training with HRIS SystemsAssist with employee payroll/benefit questions and other administrative tasks as assignedRequired Skills and ExperienceAssociate Degree in Human Resources or related field, or minimum of 2+ years of Human Resources related experienceDemonstrated ability to influence decision making at the supervisory level of the organizationKnowledge of general HR practicesProven ability to effectively manage multiple projects and work streams to deliver quality resultsExperience with HR systems to include timekeeping, payroll, benefits, etc.Strong analytical skills with excellent attention to detailStrong presentation and communication skillsExperience utilizing productivity tools such as Microsoft Office, PowerPoint and SharePointPreferred Skills and ExperienceBilingual (Spanish) SHRM CertificationExperience in Manufacturing and/or Healthcare IndustryCompany Overview
