Description A Robert Half client, in the Wholesale Distribution industry is currently seeking a HR Generalist to join their team in Burr Ridge, IL. As a HR Generalist, you will be tasked with general human resources activities for this small, privately held company. You will also be expected to maintain confidentiality and a detail-oriented approach at all times while keeping up with industry trends and standards. This position is 100% on-site and offers a salary of $70,000-$75,000 annually + full benefits. Responsibilities: • Administer employee benefits and assist with onboarding and offboarding procedures. • Provide support to employees and foster a positive workplace culture. • Establish and document procedures, making necessary updates to address business changes and challenges. • Maintain confidentiality of employee information and ensure compliance with regulations. • Responsible for updating and maintaining the Employee Handbook and organizational charts. • Continuously improve detail-oriented and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops and reviewing industry publications. • Execute special projects as required. Requirements • Bachelor's degree required • Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal • Knowledge of HR Compliance rules and regulations • Demonstrated expertise in managing Employee Relations • Proficiency in dealing with FMLA issues and concerns • Experience in developing and updating the Employee Handbook • Solid experience in Benefits Administration, including health, retirement, and other employee benefits • Ability to create and maintain Organizational Charts that reflect the company structure • Strong understanding and commitment to fostering a positive Workplace Culture TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
