HR Generalist

Description We are in search of a HR Generalist to join our team in the retail industry, located in Southlake, Texas. As a HR Generalist, your primary role will be to manage compliance, administer benefits, and foster positive employee relations. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities:
• Manage compliance by investigating discrepancies between employees, payroll, benefit providers, and government agencies to ensure record accuracy.
• Process and handle workers' compensation claims, while ensuring compliance with ADA, Leave of Absence and state-mandated time off requirements.
• Assist employees with their benefit-related queries and issues, while ensuring effective utilization of their benefits.
• Identify and implement new benefits and perks to boost employee satisfaction.
• Provide management with high-quality advice on daily employee relations, performance management issues, and conflict resolution.
• Foster a positive work environment by promptly resolving issues, applying new perks and benefits.
• Promote HR programs aimed at creating an efficient and conflict-free workplace.
• Utilize HR information systems including Workday for efficient management.
• Employ strong interpersonal relationship building and employee coaching skills for effective employee relations. Requirements • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services
• Experience with ADP Workforce Now
• Familiarity with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode
• Knowledge of Ceridian software
• Ability to navigate Dayforce
• Understanding of Benefit Functions within the HR role
• Excellent Communication skills, both written and verbal
• Demonstrated ability to ensure Compliance with company policies and legal regulations
• Proven experience in managing Employee Relations
• Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) TalentMatch®
