HR Generalist

If you're a problem-solver with strong communication skills and a passion for HR best practices, we’d love to meet you! **Key Responsibilities** : + **Payroll Management** : Oversee the **bi-weekly payroll cycle** , ensuring timely and accurate payments for all employees while staying aligned with company policies and **legal compliance** . + **Employee Records Management** : Continuously maintain and update employee files, ensuring accuracy in **personal data** , job titles, compensation details, and any other pertinent information. + **Regulatory Compliance** : Ensure that all HR functions comply with **federal, state** , and **local labor laws** to mitigate risks and protect both employees and the company. + **Audit & Improvement** : Perform regular **audits** of HR and payroll processes to identify any discrepancies, uncover opportunities for efficiency, and suggest innovative solutions. + **Employee Relations** : Provide **guidance** to employees on various HR-related matters, from **policy interpretation** to **benefits inquiries** , while maintaining a high standard of professionalism. + **Compliance & Recordkeeping** : Ensure **I-9** forms are completed, current, and accurate, while maintaining other essential employment records in line with company requirements. + **Continuous Learning** : Keep up-to-date with the latest developments in HR best practices and labor regulations to stay ahead in this ever-evolving field. **Qualifications** : + **Education** : Bachelor’s degree in **Human Resources** , **Business Administration** , or a related field. + **Experience** : At least **3 years of experience** in an HR role, with a strong focus on **payroll processing** and compliance. + **Technical Skills** : Hands-on experience with **ADP Workforce** or similar HR/payroll systems. + **Knowledge** : In-depth understanding of **labor laws** , **employee relations** , and **HR compliance** . + **Skills** : Strong **organizational** , **time-management** , and **communication** skills. + **Discretion** : Proven ability to handle **confidential information** with the utmost integrity and professionalism. **Work Environment** : + **Setting** : Office environment with **standard working hours** , but adaptable to occasional remote work depending on business needs. + **Travel** : Occasional travel for **training** or **company events** may be required. **Salary & Benefits** : + **Compensation** : Competitive salary, commensurate with experience. + **Benefits** : Comprehensive benefits package, including **health insurance** , **retirement plans** , and generous **paid time off** . **Reporting Structure** : + Reports directly to the **HR Manager** . + Opportunity to mentor or supervise **HR assistants** or **HR coordinators** , depending on team needs. **Pay Details:** $31.25 per week Benefit offerings available for our associates include medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, additional voluntary benefits, EAP program, commuter benefits and a 401K plan.
