HR Generalist
Description We are offering an exciting opportunity for an HR Generalist to join our clients team in the manufacturing industry based in Lincoln, Nebraska. You will play a crucial role in various HR functions, from recruitment to policy development and employee relations, and using your knowledge of HR technology. Responsibilities: • Implement HR procedures and policies in line with company guidelines and legal requirements. • Oversee recruitment processes, including the creation of job announcements and applications, conducting interviews, and making hiring recommendations. • Provide support to employees on various HR-related topics. • Handle HR tasks such as workplace investigations, disciplinary actions, terminations, and employee grievances. • Maintain accurate records, files, and reports, including the responsibility for maintaining personal records. • Apply expertise in different human resources areas, such as benefits and compensation, employee relations, and HRIS. • Assist with payroll processing. • Conduct employee onboarding and help organize training & development initiatives. Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role within the Transportation Equipment Manufacturing industry • Proficiency in ADP - Financial Services and ADP Workforce Now • Experience with ATS - Asynchronous Transfer Mode • Familiarity with Ceridian and Dayforce software • Comprehensive understanding of Benefit Functions • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal • Knowledgeable in Compliance and Employee Relations • Experience with FMLA and Human Resources (HR) Administration • Proven track record in HR Compliance and HR reporting • Ability to create, implement and maintain Policies & Procedures Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
