Description
Are you an HR professional with deep expertise and a hands-on approach to solving key people and operational challenges? Don’t miss this 3-4 month contract to support critical HR functions for a company in Middletown, OH.
Responsibilities
As an HR Generalist, you will play a vital role in supporting the organization’s HR processes and initiatives. Key responsibilities include:
+ Administering employee onboarding, offboarding, and lifecycle changes.
+ Managing payroll, benefits, and compensation administration.
+ Ensuring compliance with labor laws and company policies.
+ Supporting recruitment efforts, including screening, interviewing, and onboarding.
+ Handling employee relations, conflict resolution, and performance management.
+ Contributing to training and development programs to upskill employee capabilities.
+ Providing guidance on HR processes and tools like Workday, ADP, or other HRIS systems.
Qualifications & Skills
+ Proven experience as an HR Generalist or similar HR role.
+ Strong knowledge of HR practices, compliance, and labor laws.
+ Proficiency in HR systems such as ADP, Workday, or other HRIS tools.
+ Experience in FMLA
+ Ability to collaborate cross-functionally and support a diverse workforce in a manufacturing environment.
+ Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills.
Requirements • Minimum of 3 years of experience in a HR Generalist role or similar
• Demonstrable skills in managing Benefit Functions within an organization
• Proficiency in ensuring Compliance with labor laws and internal policies
• Experience in handling Employee Relations and resolving workplace issues
• Familiarity with the Family and Medical Leave Act (FMLA) and its applications
• Proficiency in using Paycom or similar HR Management software
• Experience in designing and implementing Hiring Processes. TalentMatch®
