Simply put, we care about our people, our products and our customers. Job Purpose The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for performing HR-related duties on a professional level. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: Recruitment, compensation, employee relations, performance management, onboarding, benefits administration, policy implementation, training, affirmative action, workers compensation, HRIS systems, succession planning and employment law compliance. Principal Accountabilities + Conducts recruitment effort for all exempt and nonexempt personnel, conducts new-employee orientations; Advertise Job Descriptions. + Handles employee relations, performance management issues, counseling and exit interviewing. + Assists in the development and implementation of personnel policies and procedures; + Knowledgeable of benefits administration to include claims resolution and communicating benefit information to employees. + Build internal relationships across multiple departments + Recommends new approaches, policies and procedures to effect continual improvements in efficiency of the department and services performed. + Maintains human resource information system records and compiles reports from the database. + Knowledge of and administer workers compensation. + Must be well-versed in employment law regulations (FMLA, ADA, FLSA, etc.) + Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment and unemployment. + Support the HR department in implementing programs to help improve the employee experience + Recruiter for Nonexempt and Exempt positions + Participates in developing department goals, objectives and systems. + Prepare termination and severance letters Knowledge / Skills / Experience + BS Degree or equivalent required. + 10 years HR experience preferred. + Knowledge of Human Resources policies, procedures, employment laws, labor law regulations and practices. + Workday experience, required. + Excellent oral, written and interpersonal communication skills. + Good data analysis skills. + Competent in Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint. Pay Transparency (complete highlighted sections) + **The salary range for this position is $73,050 - $91,312. Factors such as scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, job-related skills, internal peer equity, as well as market and business considerations may influence base pay offered.
