HR Generalist
Description We are offering a contract to hire employment opportunity for a HR Generalist. The HR Generalist will primarily focus on managing employee relations, benefits administration, compliance, and several HR administrative tasks within our organization. Responsibilities: • Oversee and manage the entire employee onboarding process • Administer employee benefits and ensure proper enrollment • Handle employee termination process in accordance with company policy and legal requirements • Successfully execute ad-hoc projects such as handling unemployment cases and union issues • Provide support in the management of union and non-union contracts • Utilize effective communication skills to resolve employee grievances and disputes • Handle various HR administrative tasks as needed • Manage and process payroll, with a particular focus on union payroll • Ensure compliance with all HR policies and legal regulations • Conduct exit interviews and provide feedback for improvement. Requirements • Must have a minimum of 5 years of experience in an HR Generalist role or similar. • Demonstrable proficiency in Benefit Functions is necessary. • Strong Communication skills are a prerequisite for this position. • Familiarity with Compliance rules and regulations in the HR field is required. • Expertise in Employee Relations is essential. • Proficiency in Human Resources (HR) Administration is required. • Experience with Benefits Payroll is necessary. • Demonstrated ability in Benefits Administration is crucial. • Experience with Onboarding new employees is required. • Must have conducted Exit interviews in previous roles. • Experience working in a with Unions is beneficial. • Familiarity with Payroll related to Union & Non-Union workers is advantageous Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
