Description
We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in the construction industry, based in Kent, Washington. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for data entry, HR reporting, employee relations, benefits support, compliance, and recruitment. This role offers a contract to permanent employment opportunity.
Responsibilities
• Manage HRIS data entry into D365 and ADP, and onboard new employees, ensuring compliance with employment eligibility requirements.
• Conduct HR reporting and data pulls, requiring robust technical skills.
• Maintain HR discretion and confidentiality, demonstrating a strong HR acumen.
• Address employee relations, including meeting with managers to review employee survey results and succession planning.
• Provide some support for benefits, working closely with the Benefits Specialist.
• Ensure compliance and manage policies related to labor laws, workplace safety, OSHA compliance, and coordinate safety training.
• Oversee recruitment and staffing, including full-cycle recruiting, coordinating interview logistics, and maintaining the ATS.
• Serve as a point of contact and maintain communication with new employees from acceptance to their first day.
• Facilitate the employment process, including pre-employment background checks, IT, and in-person onboarding.
Requirements
• Demonstrated proficiency in managing Benefit Functions
• Solid understanding of Compliance within the construction industry
• Proven ability in handling Employee Relations
• Familiarity with FMLA regulations and their application in a construction setting
• Experience with Greenhouse recruiting software is preferred
• Knowledge of D365 business tool is beneficial
• Prior experience with Full Cycle Recruiting in the construction sector is essential
