HR Generalist
Description We are in need of a meticulous HR Generalist to join our team in the construction/contractor industry, located in Kent, Washington. As an HR Generalist, you will primarily be tasked with maintaining our HRIS data, managing employee relations, overseeing recruitment and staffing, and ensuring company compliance. This role presents an opportunity for contract to permanent employment. Responsibilities • Oversee the full cycle of recruitment, including coordinating interviews and maintaining applicant tracking systems • Ensure compliance and manage company policies, including labor laws, workplace safety, and OSHA compliance • Manage HRIS data entry into D365 and ADP, as well as onboarding new employees • Handle employee relations, including running employee surveys and meeting with managers to review results • Coordinate safety training and manage employment eligibility (I-9, W-4, BGCs, E-Verify) • Provide some support to the Benefits Specialist • Conduct HR reporting and data pulls, requiring strong technical skills • Maintain discretion and confidentiality in all HR matters • Act as the point of contact and communicate with new employees from acceptance to their first day • Enter new employees into the HRIS system, D365. Requirements • Proficiency in using ADP Workforce Now software for HR management tasks • Comprehensive understanding of Benefit Functions in HR context • Thorough knowledge of Compliance regulations in the construction/contractor industry • Proven experience in managing Employee Relations effectively • Familiarity with Greenhouse recruiting software • Competency in using D365 for HR-related functionalities • Experience in Full Cycle Recruiting, from job posting to onboarding TalentMatch® Robert Half is the world’s first and largest specialized talent solutions firm that connects highly qualified job seekers to opportunities at great companies.
