HR Generalist
Description We are seeking an HR Generalist to join our team in the healthcare industry, based in Las Vegas. This role is a permanent employment opportunity. As an HR Generalist, you will be responsible for ensuring smooth interactions with employees, guests, and vendors while assisting with vital administrative duties to guarantee our team's success. Responsibilities: + Serves as an effective advisor to managers on human resources issues including consistent interpretation on policies and laws. + Works with Human Resources Administrator to develop policies, procedures and programs to meet human resources needs of the organization. + Assists with and coordinates the hospital’s problem solving/grievance processes as an advisor to all parties during the various levels of the process; advises managers/supervisors on the appropriate use of the discipline and action plan development in the + Assists with the maintenance of a comprehensive employee record keeping system in compliance with TJC, Federal and State regulations and programs that ensure effective retrieval. + Coordinates internal transfer process. + Presents Human Resources related subject material at general orientation for new staff. + Prepares daily, weekly and monthly reports as requested. + Effectively listens to staff concerns/problems and researches/investigates and responds to such concerns/problems in a timely manner. + Prepares unemployment claim documentation and represents facility HR at hearings, + Actively identifies and assists in development of department and hospital wide training needs. + Maintains compliance with federal and state regulatory rules as appropriate. + Utilize Lawson HRIS effectively for HR budgeting and compliance. + Analyze HRIS data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
