Intern – HR Generalist Co-Op

Mission of the Role: This dynamic role will function on a hybrid schedule supporting the HR and talent solutions team with program initiatives including intern program coordination/recruitment, policy revision and talent management with a focus on HR Business partner responsibilities.

Key Objectives of this Role:

Support the recruitment process by identifying and attracting qualified candidates for our intern roles across all business functions. Enhancing the internship program’s stages (recruitment, onboarding, and program coordination) by implementing strategic changes, streamlining processes, and introducing innovative initiatives to elevate the internship experience for interns and the business.  Document key HR processes in Visio, ensuring that we have a common data base, and all stakeholders are aligned and trained. Design and implement an evaluation methodology and governance to consistently measure and improve the effectiveness of our engagement activities.

Key Performance Indicators:

Successful onboarding of qualified candidates, meeting recruitment targets and positive feedback from hiring managers. Conducting surveys for interns and managers regarding recruitment, onboarding, and program initiatives to gage satisfaction and areas of improvement. Achieve documentation completion of key HR Processes, with stakeholder alignment and understanding. Active participation in HR initiatives, successful execution of strategies, and effectively gathering feedback from business leaders/employees.

Key Deliverables:

Document and analyze recruitment metrics for intern positions, including time to fill, candidate quality and diversity metrics. Analyze feedback from both interns and hiring managers regarding the programs structure, activities, and overall effectiveness to prepare recommendations for future improvements. Prepare a final presentation summarizing key learnings, improvement recommendations on HR processes during the internship. Successfully implement an impactful and seamless process to gather stakeholders input on the effectiveness of engagement activities.

Qualification, Experience and Skills:

Degree: Current enrollment in a bachelors (sophomore or higher) or Masters degree program in Human Resources, Business, Communications or other related majors.
