Essential Functions **NDF HR Generalist** The Human Resources Generalist is responsible for administering and providing day to day primary HR activities. Under minimal supervision, acts as a consultant to management and HR team in developing, implementing, and coordinating policies and programs covering several or all the following: recruiting, compensation and benefits, training, employee and labor relations, compliance, HRIS administration, reporting and other projects in the U.S. and international locations. Participates in policy development and participates in cross-divisional HR teams. Communicates HR related programs to managers and employees. Handles special projects, as assigned. Essential Functions: • Provides broad level of HR support to business operations and HR administration. • Supports recruiting projects to include administration of job postings, career fairs, candidate screening, and interview coordination. • Administer new hire orientation and onboarding of new employees and ensure all new hire paperwork is completed and entered in HRIS. • Provides information, answers questions, and advises employees, supervisors, managers, districts, and divisions on human resources policies and procedures via computer, phone, or in person. • Runs reports and data analytics on headcount, turnover, costs, and other key metrics, and organizes and builds data to provide insights into organization trends. • Consults and coordinates with Department management/staff, and governmental agencies regarding interpretation of rules, regulations, and laws to ensure program compliance with state and federal laws and regulations. • Maintains awareness of applicable national and state employment legislation and proposes changes to existing policies and processes. • Interfaces with outsourced service providers as required. • Provides guidance to management on highly confidential and sensitive issues in areas such as employee discipline, investigations, and management of employee leave and reasonable accommodations under the Americans with Disabilities Act. • Researches and analyzes sensitive information in response to management requests. • Researches, analyzes, and resolves human resources issues; and provides solutions and recommendations to Department management. • Responds to inquiries and complaints regarding human resources policies and procedures. • Oversee auditing processes in multiple departments to ensure policies and procedures are being followed and to provide clarification on subjects that may be misunderstood. • Audits employee data in HRIS to ensure accuracy and timeliness of data. • Provides key support to global HR team on specific projects. • Performs other job responsibilities as assigned. Education & Experience Requirements • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Labor & Industrial Relations or related field required. • Related professional certification such as SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP preferred. • Minimum of 5-7 years professional HR generalist experience required, preferably in oil & gas contractor organization. • Strong knowledge of HR related laws. • Ability and comfort with managing multiple tasks and projects. • Strong HR systems experience, and experience with MS Office software, especially Excel and Powerpoint. Must be able to demonstrate high level of competence with Excel, such as Pivot Tables and Charts. • Willingness and ability to travel within the US to offices and remote locations. Some international travel may be required. • Strong ability to communicate, influence, and challenge effectively throughout all levels of the organization. • Willingness and ability to work in the office five days per week, with ability to effectively work remotely when needed. Education & Experience Requirements Bachelors Degree or educational equivalent. 8 years working experience; 6 years HR experience. Broad knowledge of several HR principles, practices, and procedures . Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Must be a team player. HR Professional certifications preferred.
