The HR Generalist II provides counsel and direction to management in all aspects of human resources functions for assigned client departments. You will support employee relations, compensation, performance management and development. 


A caregiver in this position works 8:00am—5:00pm.  May occasionally need to work outside of these hours for rounding of evening shift workers.


A caregiver who excels in this role will:  

Act as a confidential advisor on performance management, corrective actions, performance improvement plans, right of reviews and investigations. 

Interpret and advise on policies and programs encompassing all aspects of Human Resource Management to all levels of caregivers. 

Conduct employee investigations and make recommendations to business leaders. 

Provide support in communicating human resources center of excellence (COE) programs and their implementation to all employees. 

Counsel client groups and facilitates conflict resolutions. 

Support regulatory practices to promote fair and equitable treatment of employees. 

Determines development needs of specific segments of the organization and may provide developmental training. 

Provide support in workforce planning to include partnering with talent acquisition and compensation to review requests such as promotions, equity reviews and job reclassifications and providing recommendations to leadership. 

Monitor compliance with organizational initiatives (e.g., compliance modules, flu, engagement, etc.) 

 

Minimum qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business, or related field. 

5 years of progressive Human Resources experience. 

OR Associate’s degree and an additional 2 years of related experience, including project management experience. 

OR High School Diploma/GED and an additional 4 years of related experience, including project management experience. 

 

Preferred qualifications for the ideal future caregiver include:  

Human Resources certification. 

Knowledge of employment and labor laws (e.g. EEO, FLSA, OSHA, FMLA, ADA, NLRA)

Physical Requirements:

Ability to perform work in a stationary position for extended periods.

Ability to travel throughout the hospital system and, in some locations, off-site.

Ability to operate computer and other office equipment.

Ability to communicate and exchange accurate information.

Personal Protective Equipment:
