HR Generalist - Winston-Salem, NC (Hybrid)

We are seeking HR Generalist to serve as a key member of the facility\u2019s leadership team. This position will support local and global HR programs and coordinate, track and measure related results. The incumbent serves as a business partner to multiple levels of the organizational hierarchy and ensures that objectives are achieved within a fast-paced environment in which the handling of multiple tasks simultaneously is the expected norm.
Essential Functions
* Serves as subject-matter expert for all HR functionals areas with particular emphasis on employee relations, compensation, employee engagement, and performance management
* Identifies and implements improvements to core HR functions using a continuous-improvement mindset
* Establishes, maintains, and controls personnel records, files, and organizational charts.
* Serves as project manager for local and global HR programs as appropriate. Tracks milestones, regularly reports status, and ensures objectives are achieved and delivered on time. Drives performance-appraisal, merit-increase, and other core HR processes across the site population
* Maintains site HR calendar and leads related communications for specific HR programs such as annual enrollment
* Conducts new hire orientation and prepares related paperwork and onboarding materials for both regular and temporary employees
* Serves as the first point-of-contact and acts as liaison to new and existing employees in explaining human resources policies, procedures, laws, and standards
* Other duties as assigned
Basic Qualifications
* Bachelor\u2019s degree from an accredited institution preferred
* Minimum of 2 years of experience human resources functions
* Must be authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship
Preferred Qualifications
* Proven track record of success in managing complex projects
* Familiarity with HR principles and best practices and can be trusted with confidential and/or sensitive information.
* Demonstrated ability to work under pressure, prioritize multiple projects and adjust work accordingly while displaying a keen eye for detail. High degree of comfort with workplace change and ambiguity
* Strong oral, written and presentation skills, coupled with demonstrated ability to build positive professional relationships and provide a high level of customer service
* Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint

* Proven ability to be resourceful and drive projects and programs autonomously, with limited oversight
