Responsibilities:
Manage full-cycle recruitment processes, from job posting to candidate selection.
Conduct new hire orientations and ensure a seamless onboarding experience.
Collaborate with department managers to assess hiring needs and develop job descriptions.
Serve as the first point of contact for employee inquiries and concerns, ensuring prompt and effective resolution.
Mediate employee conflicts, manage disciplinary actions, and support employee retention efforts.
Promote a positive workplace culture and ensure employees feel supported and valued.
Ensure company policies are up to date and compliant with federal, state, and local regulations.
Assist in implementing and enforcing policies and procedures that foster a productive work environment.
Maintain knowledge of current HR laws and ensure the company is compliant with labor regulations.
Assist with the administration of employee benefits programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and leave policies.
Address employee questions related to benefits and assist in benefits enrollment.
Support the annual open enrollment process and communicate any benefits changes to employees.
Assist in the management of employee performance evaluations and career development programs.
Provide guidance and support for employee development initiatives and training programs.
Collaborate with management to identify and resolve performance issues.
Maintain accurate HR records, including employee files, training logs, and compliance documentation.
Generate HR reports and analyze data to support decision-making and strategic planning.
Ensure proper documentation of all HR activities, including recruitment, terminations, and benefits administration.
Working hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
Skills:
SHRM-CP or PHR certification is highly desirable.
Experience in benefits administration and knowledge of health insurance plans.
Familiarity with employment regulations specific to Texas.
Proven experience in employee relations and conflict resolution.
Experience in a corporate or large-scale organization with a focus on continuous improvement and employee engagement initiatives.
