Type of Employee: (Intern)Position DescriptionThe Human Resources Intern will directly assist the Senior Human Resources Manager and other HR staff with a wide range of projects related to onboarding/orientation, immigration, employee benefits, HR compensation, data entry and other administrative tasks and duties as assigned. This internship is designed to be both educational and practical. In this position, the intern will learn how to take skills she or he may have acquired in school related to his or her particular areas of interest, and apply them in a professional setting. He or she will gain a better understanding of the role that Human Resources play in Power Integrations. Responsibilities· Benefits, immigration, compensation and onboarding administrative tasks· Assist in filing of HR documents· Operates and maintains standard office machines and equipment - computers, photocopiers, faxes, and printers.· Supports Human Resource (HR) with personnel information by organizing, entering, and updating employment data and files; assists with data input; editing and revising documents.· Maintains confidentiality records and records materials; assures files are confidentially stored and discarded securely.· Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed· Assists HR with events planning and arrangements· Front desk backup coverage· Perform other related duties and HR-related functions as assigned.Requirements· High school diploma with interest and aptitude to working in Human Resources· Ability to prioritize tasks and handle numerous assignments simultaneously· Computer efficiency· Proficient in Microsoft Office and internet applications· Working knowledge of Excel Spreadsheets Pay range: up tp $23/hour.
