HR Leave of Absence and Disabilities Specialist
Description HR Leave of Absence and Disabilities Specialist is required at Robert Half. The incumbent will be responsible for managing and supporting programs and procedures to support effective leave of absence (LOA) and disability accommodations practices in the organization across multiple locations. Responsibilities: + Administering and managing employee leave of absence and disability accommodation processes. + Delivering comprehensive support to staff taking leave including communicating process steps, guidance to staff members and managers. + Ensuring compliance with the laws relating to FMLA, ADA, and other applicable federal, state, and local leave laws, regulations, and company policy. + Coordinating with multiple departments, HD, payroll, benefits, and legal as needed. + Managing daily operations related to leaves and accommodations including gathering and maintaining appropriate documentation to support decisions. + Educating managers and employees on best practices, internal procedures, and regulatory requirements. + Developing and maintaining leave of absence and disability management metrics/reporting. + Perform other related duties as assigned. Requirements Requirements: + Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field. + Minimum of 3 years of experience in LOA and ADA management. + Exceptional knowledge about FMLA, ADA, and other federal, state, and local laws regarding leaves of absence. + Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and verbal. + Ability to multi-task and maintain attention to detail in a fast-paced environment. + Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite.
