What you'll do:

As a HR Manager, you'll be responsible for supporting banking divisions and/or several large business units. You'll be helping the management team to build and maintain a talented, highly capable workforce. You'll provide direct day-to-day direction to your team while coaching and guiding managers with a wide variety of human resources activities such as employee relations, compensation, performance management, talent management, and employment law compliance.
In support of the broader HR Department including recruiting, HR operations, learning and development, payroll, and total rewards, one of your key responsibilities is to build strong partnerships with your assigned business units and serve as their point person for all HR matters.
You will also advise employees at various levels including the executive level on how best they can resolve workplace challenges, explore talent and career development opportunities, and increase engagement and effectiveness.

What we are looking for:

Support Human Resources in executing the Bank's strategic and tactical people plans.   Assigned responsibility for program and policy oversight. Specific focus on advising managers and employees on the best practices for people leadership, as well as promoting and administering the Bank's HR policies and programs.Serve as a thought partner and facilitator to resolve employee relations and performance management concerns of varying complexity.  Review with employee engagement responses and activities. Conduct complex, detailed investigations regarding ethical matters and partner with legal counsel on investigations and resolutions.Assist with the production of reports and analysis for executive management and senior leaders.  Analyze these reports to identify gaps and opportunities, and support data-driven decision-making. Guide leaders and managers through change management processes to ensure successful deployment of policies, programs, and re-organization efforts.Support and promote HR programs and partners within the HR teams: talent acquisition (job profile development and review, candidate pool curating, etc.), talent development activities (succession planning, career development workshops, etc.), workforce management (promotion and compensation request review, etc.).

What you need to have:

Bachelor’s degree in a related field6 years of direct HR Business Partner experienceKnowledge of applicable regulatory and legal compliance obligations, rules and regulations, industry standards, and practices.Human Resources strategies for performance management, recruiting, talent development, total rewards, organizational effectivenessStrong communication skills (written and oral) for both internal and external audiencesSHRM CP and SHRM SCP certifications are highly desiredExpereince in a Public company preferred
