Job Description

Publicis Media’s Talent Team is seeking a HR Manager to drive Talent programs across a wide range of client groups. The HR Manager will be responsible for helping to manage the day-to-day Talent function, ensuring smooth execution of programs and iniaitives across internal client teams.

The HR Manager will be a trusted advisor, providing strategic guidance and solutions to optimize our Talent strategies. This role reports into our VP, Talent and is based in our New York, NY office.

 

Responsibilities

Support VP, HR and Associate Director, HR with execution of broader Talent strategiesDeliver strategic Talent consulting to internal clients teams with a focus on strategic staff planning and developmentContribute to the development and implementation of value-added Talent programs such as performance managementOversee junior – midlevel employee relations matters and investigations to minimize organizational riskBuild effective relationships and provide excellent client service by ensuring a positive employee experienceHelp drive people initiatives focusing on retention, engagement, recognition and talent managementWork with Client Leads and managers on employees with performance concernsBuild relationships with Resource Management and Talent Acquisition Team for assigned client groupsEducate and implement Reasonable Accommodation and Flexible Work ArrangementsPull and analyze talent data Develop relationships with business leaders, become a credible Talent partnerSupport with coaching and mediation for junior – midlevel employeesEnsure employee data integrityProvide counseling and support on corporate policies and benefit programsAdvise and respond quickly to management needs regarding general Talent & HR issuesAssist with Publicis Media Ops projectsHelp implement new Human Resources proceduresEnsure compliance with local employment laws and regulationsAd hoc projects as assigned

 

QualificationsThe role will require a hybrid work schedule (3 days onsite)Education/Knowledge: University Degree or Community college diploma in Human Resources Management or equivalent industry experience3 - 5 years’ experience in Human Resources or similar role Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work with all levels of the organization and understanding of how to partner with other departments (Legal, Finance, etc)Detail-orientated and highly motivated, self-starter, able to multi-task and work well under pressureCandidate must have strong organizational and problem solving skillsExperience with the confidential nature of HR informationKnowledge of general HR practices and legislation governing employment relationsExperience with the following areas:  Diversity, Equity and Inclusion; Talent Development; Company Culture; Project ManagementExperience with Microsoft, Excel (can maintain complex spreadsheets) and PowerpointAbility and experience working with HR analytics – can communicate insights in a concise formatCandidates with benefits, immigration, and payroll experience strongly preferred

 

PLEASE NOTE: This is a hybrid position requiring onsite collaboration of 3 days/week. The role will be based out of our New York City office located at 375 Hudson Street.

Compensation Range: $73,000 -$100,000. This is the pay range the Company believes it will pay for this position at the time of this posting. Consistent with applicable law, compensation will be determined based on the skills, qualifications, and experience of the applicant along with the requirements of the position, and the Company reserves the right to modify this pay range at any time.
