Job Description

Responsible for the adequate management of the Human Resources areas in the site, implementation of the People Strategy at local level, relationship with labor authorities, and local Universities/technical schools, work environment and strategic business partner of the leadership team on site. 

Strategic Partner: 

Support the leadership of the site to establish the necessary transformation of the culture to achieve the expected results. Lead the change through the successful implementation of the processes that allow the changes to be a successful reality according to the division or site strategy. Be an example to follow by other leaders in terms of leadership, diversity and inclusion, compliance, and ethical behavior. 

Talent Acquisition: 

Ensure early identification of talent based on current and future business requirements. Establish relationships with universities and schools that allow an adequate flow of talent. 

Follow up on Talent Acquisition indicators related to quality, hiring times and short-term voluntary turn over (First Pass Yield, Time to Source, Time to Fill, % Short term turn over). 

Training and Associate Development: 

Establish and monitor the training systems and processes that are necessary for the optimal performance of the different business units in the site, according to the quality, time, and cost indicators of each department. Guarantee that all personnel have the mandatory, necessary, and adequate training to carry out their functions at the expected performance. Guarantee that the global processes for Performance Evaluation, Potential Evaluation, Career Plans Dialogues, Succession Planning, Future Workforce Planning are implemented in a timely manner. 

Labor Relations: 

Establish relationships with internal and external delegates for adequate communication and understanding between the employee’s committee, labor authority and the company. Ensure that working conditions are optimal in terms of services, attention to associates and continuous and open communication. Establish the Internal Work Regulations, agreeing and delivering on the appropriate disciplinary processes for proper discipline in the site. 

Personnel Administration: 

Ensure appropriate quality and cost of processes contracted with Human Resources Services (HRS). Monitor and optimize processes related to payroll such as registrations, cancellations, changes, time management, incidents and special payroll processes are managed correctly and in the appropriate time. 

Compensations and Benefits: 

Establish the system that allows the attraction and retention of talent in terms of external competitiveness and internal equity of salaries and benefits. Continually monitor associate compensation in correlation with performance appraisal, talent appraisal included into global talent processes. 

Organizational Development: 

Assure global processes for performance appraisal, associate development, succession planning are implemented according to talent needs by business units into the site, making sure organizational structures are optimal and according to the division goals related to layers, Span of Control and Cost of Personnel. 

Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in a relevant area or equivalent. 

A minimum of 8 years of progressive experience in human resources. 

Bilingual (Spanish and English) 

Knowledge of Mexican Labor Law and related regulations and HR best practices. 

Proficient in Change Management, Problem Solving and Conflicts Management 

Ability to communicate professionally, both verbally and in writing. 

Organized, detail oriented and able to deal with multiple tasks simultaneously. 

Maintains a high degree of professionalism and always ensures confidentiality. 

A skilled team builder and facilitator; sets a strong example as a leader. 

Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently and take initiative to address issues. 

Solution-oriented with the ability to provide timely coaching and advice to employees and managers. 

Ability to translate business challenges into concrete and measurable HR actions.
