Eaton’s IS VEH Power Connections division is currently seeking a HR Manager. This will be an onsite position based at our manufacturing facility in Carol Stream, IL. Relocation assistance within the United States/PR is available for this opportunity.
The Human Resources Manager will be responsible for all human resource aspects and requirements for the site. Supporting the Plant Manager, the Human Resources Manager will provide HR strategy and support to the manufacturing plant consisting of salaried and hourly employees across various organizational functions. Responsibilities will include but not be limited to daily responsibilities requiring expertise in the areas of Recruitment, Employee Relations, Performance and Talent Management, and Coaching. This role will have visibility and interaction with the Division Leadership Team and is a leader or people.
The expected annual salary range for this role is $105000.03 - $154000.04 a year. This position is also eligible for a variable incentive program.

**What you’ll do:**
+ Be a driving force in ensuring a strong and committed culture of learning, transparency, ethics, passion, accountability, and efficiency throughout the new site organization.
+ Lead the recruitment and hiring of new employees during the site start-up and on-going operations.
+ Ensure that the plant complies with all relevant employment legislation & company policies.
+ Develop, Promote, and Maintain a positive environment within the organization were all employees feel motivated and engaged to contribute with plant results.
+ Support & advise plant management & employees in regard to company policies & national employment legislation
+ Promote a positive employee relations and Plant Culture through implementation of Eaton Code of Ethics and core Eaton values.
+ Lead & improve training & development related processes, including needs analysis, design & training delivery, & development programs. Foster Learning Organization Culture
+ Manage salary & wage processes, including ensuring benchmarking within Eaton & external marketplace data
+ Ensure proper & effective personnel administration
+ Support plant operations through planning headcount & manning levels & recruitment of all levels of staff, as required
+ Introduce & implement HR policies & procedures, including performance management processes, in accordance with Eaton standards.
+ Provide leadership, management, coaching & development to staff members.
+ Promote Safety & Continuous Improvement as a Culture.
**Qualifications:**
**Required Basic Qualifications:**
+ Minimum of a Bachelors Degree from an accredited institution
+ Minimum five (5) years Human Resources experience
+ Minimum two (2) years experience leading people in a managerial role
+ Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future
+ Relocation assistance will be provided for this opportunity for those within the United States/PR. Candidates residing within 50 miles of Chicago, IL will also be considered.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bachelors Degree in Human Resources Management, Psychology, Industrial and/or Labor Relations
+ Masters Degree
+ Experience with employee relations/labor relations \
+ SAP business system experience
+ Experience with lean, six sigma, and/or continuous improvement
+ Bi-Lingual (Spanish and English)
**Skills**
+ Travel may be required (10%)
+ Proficient with Microsoft Excel
+ In depth knowledge of employment legislation
+ Presentation and facilitation knowledge with skills in teaching, training and developing employees
