Eaton’s Geis division is currently seeking a HR Manager. 

The expected annual salary range for this role is $108749.97 - $159499.96 a year.

What you’ll do:

The primary function for this position is to be a high performing business partner leading the HR function for the Sherman, TX manufacturing site. As part of the leadership team for the site, you will have overall responsibility for developing, directing, coordinating and maintaining all talent initiatives. This role will be responsible for the development and deployment of HR policies, programs, processes, and best practices throughout the manufacturing facility. The incumbent will be responsible for managing day-to-day employee relations in accordance with legal, divisional, and corporate guidelines.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: 

Lead the HR function & strategy for a non-union plant totaling approximately 350 employees on multiple shiftsDevelop HR talent by mentoring and developing an HR Business PartnerDrive positive employee to provide an optimal work environment for all employees. Effectively deploy communication plans and utilize assessment tools (e.g. employee survey) to determine organizational issues & action plans. Exemplify and lead Eaton values, philosophy & ethics.Build organizational capability through ownership of talent management processes including assessment, performance management, employee development and succession planningManage local compensation for both salaried and hourly workforce, including benchmarking within Eaton & external marketplace dataSupport plant operations through planning headcount & manning levels & recruitment of all levels of staff, as requiredImplement, promote and maintain a safe work environment by implementing a zero-incident culture . Lead in a variety of health and safety initiatives including but not limited to: Safety Category champion, Employee Engagement Team Lead and other safety/environmental programs established for the facility for a safe work environment.Coach and influence leadership regarding policies, practices, laws and regulations to ensure all human resource policies and programs follow local and governmental regulatory requirements and are driving an engaged cultureDevelop and deploy effective training process to meet the current and future needs of the strategic plans of the organizationQualifications:

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institutionMinimum 5 years of experience in labor relations OR as a human resources business partnerMinimum 3 years experience in a manufacturing environmentMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future


Preferred Qualifications: 
•    Master’s degree in Business Administration or Human Resources from an accredited institution
•    Previous experience working in a manufacturing environment
•    Prior experience managing direct reports
•    PHR or SPHR certification
