HR Manager
Description We are offering a contract to hire opportunity for a Human Resources Manager. This person plays a pivotal role in supporting organizational growth and success by leading a comprehensive range of HR functions. This role is responsible for planning, developing, implementing, administering, and overseeing most or all HR initiatives and processes, including recruitment, employee relations, compliance, compensation and benefits, visa processing, onboarding, and organizational development. The HR Manager crafts and drives creative HR strategies while serving as a proactive advisor to senior leadership on policy and employee engagement matters. Requirements Key Responsibilities: + Leading, managing, and continuously improving the operations of the Human Resources department, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and strategies. + Developing and implementing HR policies, procedures, and practices that foster a positive and compliant workplace culture, maintaining and updating the Employee Handbook. + Overseeing performance management initiatives, coaching and supporting managers to drive employee development and organizational success. + Designing and administering compensation and benefits programs, including annual salary surveys and performance evaluations; reviewing policies for competitiveness and cost-effectiveness. + Developing and driving strategic recruitment efforts to attract, hire, and retain highly qualified and diverse talent, ensuring an exceptional candidate and onboarding experience. + Managing employee relations, ensuring compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations, including reporting and posting obligations. + Administering benefits programs, including claims resolution and annual policy assessments, while monitoring cash flow and budgetary impact. + Collaborating with leadership and teams to design organizational development programs that promote employee engagement, professional growth, and retention. + Conducting employee satisfaction surveys, analyzing results, and implementing initiatives to address findings and improve workplace morale. + Supporting leadership with workforce planning, job performance initiatives, and career development programs to enable employees to perform to their highest potential. Qualifications and Competencies: + Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field is required, with advanced certification (PHR, SPHR, SHRM-CP, SHRM-SCP) being highly preferred. + A minimum of 5 years of progressive HR experience, including at least 2 years in a leadership capacity within a fast-paced environment. + Strong knowledge of HR principles, employment law, and regulations, with a proven track record of maintaining compliance in workforce management. + Demonstrated expertise in managing recruitment, compensation, performance management, and benefits programs. + Previous success in recruiting and retaining diverse talent and creating inclusive work environments. + Proficient in leveraging HR technology and tools, as well as MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint). + Exceptional project management, organizational, and problem-solving skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities effectively. + Exhibits discretion, confidentiality, and strong interpersonal skills, fostering trust and collaboration across all levels of the organization. + A results-driven leader who embraces innovation, teamwork, and strategic thinking to adapt to organizational needs.
