Exciting Direct Hire Opportunity as an HR Manager at Our Chicago Plant !

Are you a dynamic HR professional looking to make a meaningful impact in a thriving manufacturing environment? We’re seeking an experienced HR Manager to lead all HR initiatives at our Chicago plant. This is a fully onsite role, offering an incredible opportunity to shape policies, foster employee engagement, and drive HR excellence. If you’re bilingual in Spanish or Cantonese, that's a plus!

Pay Rate: $90k+/yr, based on experience

Work Experience

What you’ll be doing:

Oversee HR programs, policies, and compliance for the plant.Lead employee communications, resolve relations issues, and manage corrective actions.Manage recruitment efforts with support from the HR Specialist, including full-cycle recruiting.Facilitate training, meetings, and engagement events to enhance team performance.Administer leaves of absence (FMLA, STD, personal) and track attendance.Collaborate on company-wide HR initiatives and mentor the HR Specialist.Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal regulations.

Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree (required).Experience: 7+ years of HR experience, with a strong generalist background. Prior manufacturing experience is highly preferred.Bilingual: Spanish or Cantonese proficiency is strongly preferred.Skills: Exceptional communication, organizational, and project management abilities, alongside professionalism and discretion
